I started my makeup journey through self tuition. I watched many YouTube videos and tried different looks on myself and friends.
Once I realised how powerful my passion for makeup was, I became unstoppable. I made the big decision to turn my hobby into a profession - and gradually and methodically built my kit consisting of essential high end products. Bright, bold, colourful looks were my favourite but I wanted to expand my skills into different fields, so I attended West Thames college in Isleworth, where I trained in VTCT Theatrical and Media Makeup.
There I learned bridal, photography and SFX make-up techniques and since then I've had the pleasure of running several masterclasses (including a live makeup demo on a model and practical so the student could practice what they've learned) and that's when I realised I also enjoy sharing my knowledge with others. This led me to start offering one to one makeup lessons. I wanted to make sure I know how to pass my knowledge in a professional and approved way so I gained the nationally recognised qualification TQUK level 3 in education and training. This means that by training with me you will get a Guild accredited certification if you wish to become a makeup artist yourself.
I'm very fortunate to have found my passion and I will continue to master my old skills as well as develop new ones and one day fulfil my life goal which is to have my own makeup academy.
